Promoting Data Visualization as a First Step

After having read the ‘Supervised Classification’ chapter of ‘Interactive and Dynamic Graphics for Data Analysis: With R and GGobi (Use R)‘ and thinking about how scientific visualization helps even with sophisticated numerical methods such as SVM (Support Vector Machines), I have come across a very relevant blog entry titled ‘Data visualization as a first step…and also an intermediate step and a last step‘.
