The most beautiful bookshop I’ve ever seen: Selexyz Dominicanen in Maastricht

10 Mar

I had read about an interesting bookshop in Maastricht a few years ago. It was inside an old church, a church that started to serve as a gathering place for people who were passionate about all kinds of books. And then I forgot about this bookshop until yesterday afternoon. Returning from CeBIT 2013, we decided to stop by Maastricht and have a short rest. Strolling the lovely streets of Maastricht, it was a very nice surprise to come across the majestic doors of Selexyz Dominicanen. Were it not for our lack of time, I’d probably have spent hours and hours there, but this time I had to make do with a short tour, and bought some books for our son. This bookshop, with its three floors inside, is definitely worth a second visit, and a longer one this time.
